I have started a new project and want to use the Dresden Plate pattern with the rounded tops. I zig-zagged the center circle an I need advise on those tops. Do I try to turn the seam over staying with the 1/4 seam and the round shape or do I use the zig-zag again through the entire Dresden.

Sorry about the focus but this is the center with the zigzag

Entire Dresden Plate sitting on top of some white material I will use for backing

Outside tops not stitched, Circle with ZigZag

It is beautiful. Zig zag or the blanket would be wonderful. Love the colors.
