I know that it's early, but I've been making things for my church's Christmas Craft Festival that will be in Nov. Below are pictures of the Christmas table runner that I finished today. I made it from the extra scraps of Christmas fabrics I've been using. I did fmq in the white areas and sid in the flower squares & border.

It's beautiful. I think the white makes the poinsettias really pop. I am a new quilter and I think I might try to copy it. I hope you don't mind. How big are the squares and borders?

It's a free pattern at www.quiltbug.com. You go to the free section and it's called the Flying Stars Table Runner. The whole table runner is about 68" x 20". The poinsettia flower is a table cloth that I bought a a local thrift store. It was new and still had the tags on it....I got it for under $3. I wasn't sure of what I was going to do with it and then saw this pattern. I'd love to find some pumpkin fabric and fussy cut the pumkins for the center square. Have fun making it.
