I'm looking for an overhead projector now...remember the ones your teacher used with transparencies in school?
Anyway, this is what you can do with one. Find a simple coloring book page, blow it WAY up and make it in fabric!
My chick was made with fur...a little artistic license, but they're fuzzy, right? Then I put satin on the back. The little girl who got it LOVED all of the different textures on it!

Great idea. I know a lot of the schools and businesses are getting rid of their overhead projectors due to new technology that is available. Maybe you could contact them or place a wanted add on Craig's List.

Oh what a cute chickie! Just be careful when you're using them, don't use an original picture that you can't replace as the heat will curl the edges.

Cute!

A lot of churches have them hanging around still. Keep an eye open at thrift shops and the like too.

I took the clip art to Kinko's and had them make it into a transparency-cost 50 cents and it's right next door to Walmart!

I found a package of transparancy sheets at the thrift store. I can use my inkjet printer to print out my pattern/pictures :D:D:D
