    Default Easy Butterfly scrap quilt

Just thought I'd pop in to share a quick and fun quilt. There's no pattern, I just threw it together in an attempt to use up scraps fast. It made a small dent in the scrap bins, so I started another quilt and another. This plan to use up my scraps could take longer than planned. I also wanted to keep the quilting quick and easy so I did this one on my domestic machine instead of the frame. The backing is a not so loved piece of yardage that I pulled from the stash. So here's "Flit and Flutter"

I think your backing is terrific. I remember that cute fabric. I love the way you quilted this quilt. It is so complimentary to the piecing.

What a nice use of scraps, and it looks like you could have spent hours choosing the perfect backing too!

Oh, I really like this one! The colors are just delightful. I like 4 things especially: the three butterflies placed as they are, the backing, the Apple green border, and a certain white flower on dark pink background that is like perfect punctuation where it is.
