Thanks, twistedstitcher (that's harder to type than it looks LOL) for the link. It's so pretty and a good way to use up some of my holiday stash. As I'm typing I'm thinking up fabric combinations in my mind.

You're welcome. I think there's lots of fabrics this would work with, not necessarily seasonal. The center squares could be fussy cut or embroidered. I think I'll try one in batiks too.
