Oh, I just love the beautiful vintage Singer machines with red & gold trim. I coveted one but kept the thought to myself - someday, someday, I would have one. Well, look at what my son found at an estate sale near his home in upstate NY! And he didn't even know I wanted one! Must be ESP!! He goes to estate sales if they're close by and sent me pictures of cobalt glass that I collect and then went to another room and found this sewing machine! He told me the price and I said, BUY IT! This is the second Singer in a cabinet that he has found for me! Gotta love that son! Now... just have to find a way to get it home to Colorado!!

Singer born Jan 1910

Congrats. I still have envy-itus for a treadle, and they don't seem to exist here, but I am not grumbling, as I have two featherweights.

I also collect Cobalt glass, and have my share of sewing machines - but only one featherweight.:)

That beautiful machine looks like it's been kept in a glass case. Congratulations!
