Default Eldon - A lesson in set-in seams

This is the hardest piecing I've ever done. I used fabric that I didn't care for much because I thought I'd never finish it. It has hundreds of set in seams. I used at least 65 different fabrics. I still have to sew on borders, press it, and quilt it, but right now I need a break from it!

That is gorgeous. Please post when finished. Such dedication to piece this. Would have made me quit at first block.

That is beautiful! I have that pattern and was just looking at it yesterday, wondering if now is the time to make it. I love the fabrics you're using, even if they're not your favorites. Sometimes the finished quilt surprises us and is much more beautiful than expected. Yours sure is.
