Elephants on Parade Finished, or do I need more quilting?

Don't know what to say about the quilting of it. But boy is that a cute quilt. My neice is having a boy in Jan. I would luv to make this but have never worked with Minkee and heard that it can be difficult.

It is too darling for words. I would do a larger meander in the background just to reduce the puff and make it more evenly quilted. E's with hearts would be fun to do as an edge to edge since you have hearts in the applique. But a large meander, not a small..That would not reduce the softness.

I've only just finished my second quilt yesterday, and they both had minkee backing. I haven't had any problems (knock on wood!)
Now; DH has requested a quilt for our queen-sized bed with minkee backing... lets see how THAT goes...
