Default Elf on The Shelf Blanket

My 9 year old decided to make Christmas Gifts for our 2 Elf On The Self's Fred and Nicholas. This is his first completed project and is very proud of it. He will be making one more little blanket and 2 pillows for them to take back to the North Pole with them when they leave.

I did all the cutting for him and he did all the sewing. The only thing that I did was fix a seam that pulled out after all the layers were sewing together. No big deal, it needed to be "Quilted" anyway so I just added a matching line on the other end of the blanket. Never can tell there was a problem

What a kind, thoughtful son you have. Please tell him I think he is doing a great job. Your elf's will be thrilled to take their quilts and pillows back to the north pole with them.

Oh so true on stash idea. The only good part is that my stash is really small so not much to choose from. Although, he is currently building a little stash of his own. He is collecting fabric to make Jars on a Self or Eye Spy quilt. Not sure which one he will choose. He also has a large lap quilt in progress. He is taking it slow, but picks it up to sew a block or two between homework, TaeKwonDo and Soccer. He even has his own little sewing machine so we can sew together.
