Default Embroidered quilt Pansies

I volunteered to quilt a quilt for my niece's SIL. I guess she has never done a quilt before. But I did not expect this gorgeous quilt top. Since I am not being paid for it, I could do anything I wanted. And this top deserved the best. I got the top and April 1 and the wedding it is for is April 15 and it has to be bound by a first time quilt maker. I finished early this morning, four days later. I opted for the very small meandering in the background because it would be quicker. The puffed parts are what show up and really frame the motifs. The quilter did a great job putting the blocks together. The top was nice and flat and perfectly pressed. She is however so new to quilting that she asked my niece if the person who quilted the quilt also put the blocks together for her.

Fabulous! I admire all the quilting you did on this quilt, especially how you framed out the pansies!

It turned out beautiful. Regardless of the newness of the quilt maker, she did a wonderful job on the pansies and you completed the process in a spectacular way. It will be a wonderful wedding present.
