Thread: Embroideried Basket of flowers/30's repro BRIGHT AND VIBRIANT!

I had a TON of scraps leftover from this quilt. 1930's repro quilt ITS FLASHY! Butterflies, dresdans and more!

So I decided to make something fun. Machine embroideried the baskets of flowers and then just opened up a book of quilt blocks and picked one to make. It was fun! Nothing fancy but hey I think it works! :-)

Some of the pictures look like the quilt is really wrinkled but it not its just how the quilted decided to show up in the pictures.

I love it. It has given me ideas of what I can do with my embroidery unit and quilting. I love to open a book and pick out a block to do. Did that for my SIL and it was such fun. Should do it again. Thanks for sharing
