    Default Embroidery block set together

My niece started embroidering these blocks about 20 yrs. ago when her daughter who has Cystic Fibrosis and was in hospital a lot. Last year she decided she was going to finish it and ask me to help.
She wanted to incorporate pieced ribbon blocks in colors for cystic fibrosis (purple) and for transplant (green). She wanted to have 12 each. When she never had time to come to my house and finish it she ask me to do it. Since I don't do triangles very well I decide four of those blocks was enough. So this is what I came up with. She hasn't seen a picture of it yet, hope she likes it and we can get it quilted for her daughter for her birthday.

It's really pretty nice job......personally I like only the 4 ribbon blocks the are very strikining and would have overwhelmed her pretty embordery. Love the border fabric too.

How beautiful it looks. It was worth the wait all those years to finish it.
