    just a sample and not real happy with the applique part...should have maybe needle turned it also darer color in back part of flower...live and learn

    well that's how we all learn by doing it wrong then doing it better next time. good luck in the future. I went through the same things. Not always pleased with what I have done too.

    I absolutely love that color combination. Coral is one of my very favorite colors.

    Turn it into a Victorian like block. Add some ric rac/bric brac and pearls, lace. You could run some colorful thread thru the stictches. You could start with a lacey center then run the colorful thread out and about. Jazz it up and you have a cute little wall hanging! I really think it's the start of something good! You're just not done with it.

    don't fret over colors or your stitches. it will all look lovely when you're done. Looks good so far!!
