What a fabulous day you both had. I love the fabric colors, so vivid and pretty! Look forward to seeing them in a project.

Looks like a messy job to do, but wow! The colors came out gorgeous! Great job and glad you had time to play with your daugther.

What fun! How nice to have a yard to mess around with, no fears of spills!
I've always wanted to try my hand at shibori.. I'll have to wait till I get my hands on the right chemicals, and good working space.

WoW Wendy! You've got my attention with that fabulous fuscia (my fave color) and the gorgeous purples. I may just have to "play" this summer, also. Thanks for posting.

Wonderful work, Wendy! I love the textures you've got there. I tried this, too, last year. I bunched the fabric up into tight bundles and secured each bundle with rubber bands. I was using blue, so I got an underwater kind of look. You can almost see it on the borders of my Matisse quilt. (http://www.quiltingboard.com/picture...t-t189471.html)

How KOOL is this. Just love all the colors so vivid. Did you take a course on how to do this or did you just wing it? This looks so messy but a lot of fun. Could you do a tutorial on how this was done with just two colors? Makes me want to go get messy! Thanks for sharing. Can't wait to see what you and your daughter put together from this fabric. Thanks for the inspiration. BrendaK

They turned out terrific! Seems to be a bit of a messy process, though
