For a dark, I would go with the deep rose color that appears in both of the floral fabrics. I would never want to add black to such a pretty airy assortment of fabrics.
If I were going for a 6th color, I'd look for something in a pink and turquoise to pick up those tones out of the 2nd floral and the other 2 prints. The pretty carnation pink, not the deeper tones.
Anddddd, I was just browsing on fabricdepot.com and they have the bird in a blue and also a fabric that I love for your deep tone. It's a tonal dark rose leafy batik: 23634-353 Falling Leaves - Dk Pink

There are a lot of great deals in their clearance sections and many of them would go well with your mix. Falling leaves is one of the sale fabrics, too.

I have 2 yards of the floral and the only thing on the selvage is "Des.: 11025" Then it has the little blocks of color (can you tell what a novice I am!?!)...if that would help you identify it better let me know. It came from Sew Bizz in Birmingham (www.sewbizz.net)
Thanks for sharing this information, reevesfarm. I hope to get some of these fabrics......especially the green. You really picked some pretty ones!
