He picked the fabric all by himself and he was soo happy. Well that was over a month ago and I still haven't done anything with it. I am posting this because I know you all will see it and ask about it. I am hoping this will help get me in gear lol.

Well girlfriend, looks like you've got some work to do!! Whatchya gonna make with it? Maybe an ispy...christmas? You could just do a big rectangle, and but a couple borders on. He'd probably love that!

Have fun, and post when you're done!

That is so cute, soon you'll have your I Spy squares and they will make a great addition to the fabric your son chose.

We found it at Hobby Lobby. I should have waited to get it because now all the Christmas fabric is on sale.

ok I found what I am going to do. I have no idea what its called. It's in a book I bought from the international quilt festival a couple of weeks ago. The book is called Gumbo YA-YA. It has a bunch of quilts made from 3 different blocks. Some have 1 of the blocks, some have a couple of the blocks, and some have all 3 blocks. The one I want to do is using block #1 and block #3. Wish me luck lol.

Tell yourself it has to be done by Christmas. A deadline always helps me. By the way, I like the fabric he picked. Any ideas on what pattern you will be doing?

Cute fabric, and I love Hobby Lobby. I need to make a visit, but I always end up spending too much!

You have to admire a four year old's priorities - Staying on Santa's good side!
