I just felt like showing you.
My daughter chose these from my stash for her next ragged flannel.

My son's girl, Jenny, and I went shopping for her fabric today! This is a combination of some stash and what she found at the LQS--well kind of local.

And this is a photo scanned form McCall's Quick Quilts magazine--Sept 2009 issue, of an applique I want to try. I wasn't going to do it anytime soon, but saw these the two coodinating fabrics at Joanne's yesterday, so grabbed them while they were there. Then, since Jenny and I were standing in a quilt shop today :D , I poked around for some blues to go with the two and found what's in the last picture. It's a challenge to match! There are so many gorgeous "white" and blues, but they're really cream and blue. Bummer. :? Someday I'll learn to just buy fabrics someone already said go together!

The pattern from Quick Quilts:

The first two--you can clearly see why they were a perfect start!

And the two with the others....

Plus, I'll be working on those bookmarks for students.
And, I have potholders to make for a craft show...fabric in the middle here:

And I only get to the sewing room on weekends.
I'm in big trouble.

I have a tilting stack of new fabric waiting to get rinsed--I'll start tomorrrow! (But , if it's nice I'll be outside......)

The second from the left doesn't look right to me from the photo--but it looks good in person. :D

ROFLMAO! I have several of those fabrics! What did I tell you about our similar (exceptionally good )tastes!!!

My friend JoeAnn and I are scary that way. I can't tell you how many times we gone to each other and said "Oh, look at the great fabric I just bought" and then we both pulled out the exact same fabric. In fact when I threatened to come raid her stash recently, her reply was "Why bother? You have most of the same fabric already anyhow!"

Looks like you have your work cut out for yourself!
Or, at least ... you will in a few days, eh? LOL
