    I made this quilt about a year ago after admiring it in the local quilt shop. Saving it for the first grand daughter (could be years away!!!!)
    The chenille body is all hand cut. The satin border was and idea I got from a quilt show. Probably not very practical, but I liked the look of it.

    I love your quilt!! That satin border is adorable!! Would you mind sharing how you made it? My first two sons had baby quilts with wide satin binding, and they would rub it until they fell asleep, sometimes just with their fingers, but other times, they would rub it on their face. Youngest grandson does the same.

    That lamb is sweet. I commend you for thinking ahead!

    All my GK's are four - legged and it will probably alway's be that way. I envy those of you blessed with GK's. Cherish them and love them to pieces.

    This is just the sweetest little baby quilt for a girl. Swap out the pink for baby blue and you can have an equally cute quilt for a DGS.
