    Hi Laurie,
Is there a pattern available for this beautiful quilt, I love the simply way the leaves seem to float across the quilt. I would love to make one with leaves, but hate the thought of all of the stems.

The pattern is from the book "Tesselations" by Jackie Robinson. All the patterns in the book are 'tesselating' - where each block has a piece of it in the block next to it and above or below. The construction is easy, the planning/layout is a bit more challenging.

    Beautiful quilt.
I understand your worry. Twelve years ago at age 23 my beautiful, 6' tall daughter went to work in Dubai for 3 months. I was worried about her being in an Arab country when she is so noticeable. She was respectful of their customs and polite to everyone. She and her husband had a good experience and came home just fine.
