FALL is in the air---new runner!
#1
Although it is still hot here in California, the seasons are starting to change. It's not as dramatic in other parts of the country but I always welcome fall with cooler temperatures, changing colors on the horizon, and animals getting ready for winter.
(Can't you tell we just moved to the mountains? Seeing a squirrel find an acorn is still exciting!---lol)
Anyway, my DH needed something for a silent auction for the service organization he belongs to and I thought I'll just whip up a table runner.
Everything always seems to take longer than you think it will but regardless I was happy with the results. I have not mastered FMQ but can sititch in the ditch and echo quilt with the best of them which is what I did. I did outline the leaves.
It was an easy pattern to follow. In fact, I think this was from one of Sondra's posts on the links and resources page. Thanks, Sondra!

That's really pretty!
I love that fabric!
Oh and squirrels just get me going too! I love watching them!
I just finished a table runner using some leftover pieces I had from the one I posted in FOR ME.
Came out pretty good. I'll sell this one at the craft fair. :)

Very pretty runner. As for squirrels.........not my favorite animals. The silly things like to transplant my tulip bulbs for me. Every spring I end up with random tulips in the middle of the yard!

Can you send me the link for this table runner. I would love to make this for my daughter. I am new to quilting. ( have only made 2 quilts so far) taken lots of classes, including paper pieceing and applique. I find this site has sooo many links it is hard for me to find the one you are referring to. If you could send it to me I would really appreciate it. My email is [email protected]
