Default Fall leaves DNP in minkee

This has to be the fastest quilt I've ever created, from idea to completed top. I'm on a mission so hopefully will get it quilted by this weekend. I'm thinking of trying to FMQ maple leaves. Much practice will be done before execution. I apologize to the non-cat people, but my cats make me laugh (when I'm not swearing at them). Lambert, the first quilt inspector, (see Blue Verona from 1/17) hiked his leg and commenced to wash his nether parts. I gave up on getting a better picture. Soon as I put the camera away, he left and Cleo inspected it. She seems to disagree with Lambert's opinion.
This is getting too long, sorry. The quilt is for my new granddaughter's father. He fell in love with my daughter's minkee lap quilt and needed his own. His BD is Sunday. It'll be a little late, but he'll be okay with that. He's a serious outdoorsman. Anyway, thanks for looking!

Here's my daughter's minkee with the third quilt inspector in the house, Timber. The fourth cat is camera shy and doesn't inspect quilts. She prefers warm laps.

the quilt is great!!! I love cats, have three of them. mama and her big girl don't get along well but today they were both sleeping on a folded blanket on the twin bed, end to end. Wonders never cease!

beautiful quilt and all my friends are animal lovers
I've had dogs for 41 years and will do anything for them
Two of my neighbor's cats come to visit, one talks to me while I unload groceries sitting on the steps and the other one wants his belly rubbed.
My min pin is scratching my leg at the computer to pet him.
