Fall Splash--slowly but surely coming along
#13
I will be honest - I do not like orange but you have convinced me that orange is a tremendous color to use in a quilt - it is vibrant, warm and blends so beautifully. Thank you for the pictures of the "stages" of your quilt - it really helps me understand that a huge quilt is just a step by step process that I can accomplish one step at a time. Your quilt is absolutely gorgeous - I can't wait to see it finished.

Small, Rachel, about 25 by 40. The blocks are 5" finished. I can adjust if I need to--to get the effect I want, but it'd be an awkward size.
I'm leaving in 30 min to drop my quilts at the show. I'm excited/nervous.
Tam--I'm not an orange person myself, but I love Fall--sooo I had to use it. I did just receive the most beautiful light orange batik in the mail yesterday--it's unbelievable. It's called apricot or honey--I have to check to see which it is. I want to order more and wrap it around me. (I only bought a half yard.)
