Default Family Quilt

This is a repost with picture hopefully. I made this quilt for a family who was told their 7 year old son had a brain tumor and was given 3 weeks to live. Sadly he made it only a couple of days past the three weeks. I ended up giving the family the quilt at the funeral. Each of the family members are represented by their favorite color.

How terribly sad. My sympathies go out to the family. I am sure your quilt is bringing them comfort. Knowing another person cares enough to spend time and energy making such a thoughtful gift brings people comfort. Thank you for being that kind of a person.

What a wonderfully touching and thoughtful gift for that family. The quilt is just wonderful. Your kindness is hard to match.

You've put into words exactly what I mean. There are angels among us... especially here on this board.

Default How caring of you!

That was so caring. A lasting memory even of a loss is so special. I love your pattern also. Where did you find the little boy? I can't find him on the web. thanks! God bless you for your thoughtfulness.
