This is a commission quilt for a neighbour. It is to give to his niece who is 7 years old.

First photo is the quilt front - she likes purples and pinks. I quilted the quilt first then blanket stitched the tree onto the back.

Second photo is the back of the quilt and I am just about to start blanket stitching 36 names onto the tree. Light purple are the female names, dark purple the male names of the whole family.

That is wonderful. I love the front and the back is awesome. What a great way to do a family tree. I'm sure she is going to love it. Great job and thanks for sharing.

The quilt is really really cute. You have done a great job. The tree could be a whole separate quilt by itself
