Thank you!!!!!!!!
it's a beauty .... and of course, we would like to see it once it's all done.

Is it a dresden plate? and are you stitching it all? or applique?

One more request ... would you please show us the virgin fabric?

It is a fan that is pieced and then stitched to a square. It has a bias across the top of the fan and a quarter circle on the bottom. This is the original fabric. This is the first time I have attempted the stack and whack. We had a lesson on it at our retreat.

I had thought I would give it as a gift until my husband really liked it and said we should keep it. This will be the first one that I have made the whole thing and kept it. I have won several sets of blocks and have kept one of them so far, The rest have been given to family members.

It's time that you have one of your own that is your own work! :)

WOW! What a gorgeous quilt. I think I would use the black/gray border. It will let the red fans stand out. I think the red print detracts from the fans.

I may have to try one of those stack and whack things.
