    Default Fantastic Quilting Weekend

This weekend has been spent with a young friend Heidi who is a new quilter. We have spent two days sitting on our shack verandah enjoying a gorgeous summers day and sewing like crazy. It was such a joy to watch Heidi start on this wonderful quilting journey and she had so much fun going through my batik scraps to foundation piece her little quilt. Today before she headed back home, she had also foundation pieced 36 blocks (4" square) for her 2nd quilt. I think she is fast becoming hooked
