    Default Farm Quilt...quilted by Kevin

Customer brought in a cute farm scene quilt. She used a panel and various farm-themed fabrics to create this neat quilt. Kevin did a lot of stitch in the ditch...around the hay bales, stitched in window panes in the farm scenes, stippled around the center panel, and did some free motion oak leaves in the top and bottom borders. Thanks for looking

Whenver I post pictures from home, it always seems to have small pictures. To see bigger pictures, follow this link to our photo gallery. http://www.cedarvalleyquilts.com/app...toid=177615373

The 3rd pic. over with the stitching texture the land reminds me of back home and the drives I loved to Sioux City. Well done Kevin, great quilting.

    That is exceptional.

Does Kevin design the quilting on his own, or with input from the customer, or some of each? After seeing several of your quilts here, I'm really impressed by how well the quilting suits the piecework.

He always meets with the customer and sees what ideas they may have, and they will brainstorm to come up with ideas. Most of the time they will say "surprise me" or "do what you think looks best," but if they have specific things they want to have, he will follow the customer's wishes.

In this farm quilt, it was a case of "suprise me"
