I wasn't sure whether to quilt the sashing or not, but decided not to so it would really offset the blockx.

That quilt is truly gorgeous! Never seen such lived colors and beautiful quilting. You should be proud. Wish I could make one half as nice. Oh well, maybe some day........

I bet you were ... when my LAQ did my FWS, she said she was totally drained after too! She also did every quilt block differently. And soon, I'll be delivering her my PC, for the same great quilting. So many of the blocks are so similar to mine in fabric and colour placements, that I kept feeling that it was my quilt. Weird feeling!! Congratulations to you and your customer/friend for another great FWS finish!

Really? I don't think there has been one here on the QB shown without sashing.
