Default Fast Baby Quilt

I made this quilt with my new creative grid ruler, the ruler I have makes a 12 inch or a 6 inch log cabin block, this is a 6 inch block.. I have made the log cabin block before without the ruler and always had a little trouble getting the blocks to come out all the same size. With this ruler they all came out perfect, I usually don't like to buy rulers that just make one block but I had a coupon for half off..so I went ahead and bought it and very happy that I did..

This baby quilt will be going to my great niece, this will be her first baby and we are all very excited for her and her hubby, what a exciting time in there life.. It was lots of fun to make and really fast...Thanks for looking..

Beautiful! I had to look closely to see that it was a log cabin . The all-white half of each block really changed things! I bought that same ruler (C Grids Trim Tool) for an upcoming LC I'm doing. When I watched the YouTube demo of it, I knew it would be worth the money. You only have to make the center piece a perfect size to start . After that you can use irregular strips and trim the excess. So much easier than measuring everything first!

Congrats on the new great niece! Your quilting is lovely.

Love the quilt. I've been thinking of getting that ruler. Thanks for sharing the quilt and your experience with the ruler.
