Welcome to the Quilting Board!

the first shipment of the civil war era fat quarter club arrived today. :D Now I have to wait a whole month to get more
I am still not sure, I have been trying to find an era appropriate pattern that I like, kind of thought about a soldiers quilt, but probably will wait until i get more fabrics to decide. oh so many decisions!!!!
Beautiful fabric! :) I am going to be making a URR as well, just have to collect fabrics for it as I'm working on depleting my scraps. :)
that would be fun to make one with you loretta but with only getting my shipments once a month I bet you will be done long before i get enough to get started, be sure and post when you get done, or even while its in progress would be good. You too shadowdancer, want to see yours too!!!!
I'm not familiar with these designs. Who makes them?
are you asking about the fabric or the underground railroad patterns? :?:
Where may I ask did you order from? I love them! That's my favorite type of fabric--historical repros! I want to be part of the club!!
This-nThatfabrics.com is where I ordered it from. I thought it was very reasonable too. Bonnieblue quilts.com, sugarhousequilts.com and Reproductionfabrics.com are some good sites for 1800 repros, but there are alot of sites that carry a section for them. But yeah I have a real weakness for them too.
Just curious adyldrop, is that Audrey Hepburn on your avatar?
And you are doing a GREAT job at depleting them too!!Originally Posted by Shadow Dancer
yes yes it is Audrey. She is my idol. I'm actually planning a tote bag for myself and I"m going to paint her face onto it. I LOVE LOVE LOVE her. Maybe it's the bit of Belgian in me that loves her, Belgian chocolates, waffles and horses too. Nah it's just her amazing-ness. I keep seeing that Roman Holiday fabric collection. I can't decide if I like it or not ---or if it's because of the name. I already ordered fabric from the Jane Austin line mostly because it was named Darcy. I think my mom is going to try to steal it when she finally sees it!
