From the title I couldn't imagine what I would be looking at. I'm glad my curiousity won out. Very interesting and unusual. It is beautiful. Thanks for posting.

I love all the texture the wool and embroidery give the piece. The pebbling is perfect. Love it.

No the bird body is an Amy butler fabric. On a few of the wool pieces I appliqued cotton for the extra color & texture.

That's really cute! I'm just now starting to get to play with a bit of wool. I like the chunkiness of it. Our house is somewhat lodge/country themed and I like the way it blends in. Yours is beautiful!
