I finished the basic center of my wavy bargello WH. I am undecided about borders. None -- or add some. Right now it measures about 40" square. The first pix is in the upright position. I also took a sideways pix that I think I like better.

Opinions, please

Mim
It is from the Twist and Turn Bargello book

Looks like a peaceful day on the water somewhere. What a beautiful quilt.

The colors are beautiful and it is so calming. A light border might just make it pop.

Pretty quilt! I think it needs a border ... nothing elaborate. I think a dark blue 1" border would frame it nice and then a wider border with one of your light-colored blue fabrics, like maybe 4" wide? You did a wonderful job!

This would be my choice for borders as well.
Great job!

That was my thought exactly. Such a beautiful quilt. Great job. I agree with a small dark border, to stop the eye, and then a wider light border to give you more size.

I love your bargello in blues!
It's gorgeous! Please show us again when you get your border and binding completed!
