Not really hard, but there isn't a pattern, so you just measure the lining to what ever size jeans you are using. Sewing around the top to attach the lining and straps is tricky since its so thick. They are addicting! I now have around 15 made so far for a craft fair the end of the month. Amazing how popular they are, especially with teens!!

Jill, you and your bags are my inspiration. I have been making bags (jeans purses) lately and haunting the local thrift shop on 99 cent day for jeans. Today I will look for belts too and be a little more selective since I have a pile of jeans already. I am trying to use my stash but always need more interfacing or something. One of these days this obsession will subside and I will get back to quilting! Thanks for your ideas and keep posting. I also did some sort of basic book or shopping bags from patchwork denim. They were fun and much faster to put together even with a lining.
