The first is a little hand project I started at the quilt retreat I went to over the summer. The second is a Christmas gift for one of my nieces for next Christmas. The third is the quilt I gave one of my nephews this Christmas.

Very nice quilts. You really plan ahead don't you? I don't think I think about Christmas until October - maybe I should start now!

Dorothy, the first one is entirely hand work, nothing machine at all.

BeachLady -- I have to plan ahead for Christmas gifts. I don't get a lot of time to quilt between work and kids and I work pretty slowly. I have 12 nieces and nephews (only have 4 left to make quilts for) so I have to plan ahead if they're going to get quilts for Christmas.

Love your quilts. Do I see some hand quilting there? Just love to do my quilting by hand.
