Finished the modified log cabin and my little guy wanted a dragon or two...

A dragon for Drew

WOW! That just about covers it all. Love the modified log cabin. Great colors. That dragon is just too, too cute! Thank you so much for sharing. I'm all inspired to get back in that sewing room and get at it again!

ok, please "splain" how that is any knid of log cabin! it's beatiful but I
can't get the log cabin part. that dragon is just adorable.

triangle. By twisting the triangle, you get the pinwheel effect.

This pattern used to be on the opening of the HGTV show, Simply Quilts. I printed it out a few YEARS ago. I used brights since it's for my teenager.

Those are incredible. Your dragon looks like something Disney would have come up with. Love it! I have never seen a modified log cabin. Stunning! Where would I find a pattern for that?
