Only one is Mine, the other two were hand stitched by my best friends mother. Cathy is a seamstress/quilter and so was her mother.

This is the very first quilt I made and gave to my best friend Cathy. We cried for 2 days over how much she loved it.

Close up of her stitches. Sorry it's a little blurry.

This Cathedral Window (dbl bed size) was hand sewn by Cathy's Mom. She worked on it off nad on for 3 years. This quilt is super heavy, but so very warm.

Another Quilt made by Cathy's Mom. Does anyone know the name of this pattern?

I can see why your friend loved her quilt. Nice job. Don't know the pattern of the last quilt, similar to snail's trail. Someone will know for sure.

Thanks Kathy, I believe you are correct. I had to do alot of searching on hte web to find one to compare. My friend Cathy will love to know that's the name of it, especially since her "little monkeys" like to wrench it form her when they visit.

Your machine applique is outstanding!!!! The CW looks perfect, I can see why she is a seamstress. I started one and never finished it, it is a lot of work.
