FINALLY done - hand quilted baby quilt

It took me about a month and a half to finish this quilt. It's my first hand quilting project, and I definitely improved as I went. No pattern, just surrounded the pre-printed panel with squares. It measures 36" X 36".
Color is truest in the last two pics.
All of the fabrics except the purple paisley and the binding purple were scraps left over from other projects. Even the backing was from my stash.

I was amazed at the improvement in stitching. I thought on the first day that smaller stitches were just not physically possible. But changing to a smaller size needle helped A LOT.
