Default Finally finished this log cabin quilt top...

I have had the blocks for this log cabin quilt top finished for a while and finally got busy and got them sewn together a few days ago. I will be machine quilting it, hopefully in the not too distant future. I am going to have a hard time deciding how to quilt it though.

It is all Civil War Reproduction fabrics...the following photo was taken as the wind blew it. It is a strange angle but love the lighting in it.

I wish I had a good place to photograph quilts and quilt tops but I don't...and seems like every time I really want to photograph one it is in bright sunlight and the wind is always blowing.

Not only is it a scrappy but looks like my old time favorite thimbleberry fabric. Good job.

Great job! I love those fabrics. I can hardly wait to see it quilted. I have the same problem trying to figure out how to do it. So I am more of a top maker than a quilter.

That is beautiful, just beautiful! I love Civil War reproduction fabrics the very best & this pattern is PERFECT for them. I can't wait to see this quilted. Maybe Baptist fan? Or an overall clam shell pattern? Whatever you decide I know it'll be fabulous! Please post it again when you're done!
