I have been working on this one off and on all Summer, and finally stitched the last of the binding last night. The best part about it, is that it is made completely from my stash! The only thing I paid for was a couple spools of thread, and a package of machine needles.

I made it for a friend's step-daughter, who just moved here from Africa. I think she'll appreciated the flannel backing during her first Minnesota Winter!

That's really bright and cheerful! I'm sure she will love it and it will really make her feel welcome since it was made just for her!

I love making log cabin blocks. You use lots of bright colors like I do in my quilts.
