Default Finally my OBW after 1 year

It took me over a year to finish due to many interruptions and some stalling, but I finally got this done just before Christmas. I like the overall look, but am not happy with my FMQ! It is 76x64 in. The back is pieced to show off the original fabric. I did the FMQ on my DM, long daisy petals in the hexagons, and leaves in the border and setting pieces. I'm glad I tried this, but probably won't do another at least for awhile. On to making baby boy quilt for new grandson! (Much more fun!)

It always amazes me--the original fabric and the fascinating end product. Your quilt is beautiful.

Fabulous! I really love OBWs! I want to do one myself, but I that's a few years down the line. I really like that you used your OBW fabric as the backing - great idea!
