I made this from a McCallsquilting.com pattern. It wasn't that difficult but I must say the directions were lacking in what sizes your finished blocks should be, therefore, my star isn't perfect :(

I love the colors and I think my son will like it for his house. I'm going to take it to be quilted because I don't like quilting so this is only the top finished.

I got the fabric from M & L Fabrics in Anaheim, CA when we were visiting our kids in November. They are Robert Kaufman batiks and they were $5.98 yd!!! Wish I would have bought more. Guess I'll have to have my DD send me some :)

Love the blue batik. Looks great with the pattern you chose.
