Finished Christmas Present

I finished my Christmas gift for my DS. I have never completed a quilt so fast, this is a Log Cabin Barn Raising extra long double. I started it mid Sept and finished it at the end of Nov. Machine and hand pieced and hand quilted. I use a hoop as my home is to small for a quilting frame. The flowers are quilted in red thread and the darks of the logs are done in natural thread.

That is just beautiful. You do very nice work. But I have to ask what the quilt inspector is saying?

that is absolutely beautiful! love the flowers. I am not a hand quilter-have done it so know whats involved and the time and effort in yours was totally worth it. thanks for sharing.
