That is so special. It will probably become an heirloom she'll hand down to her daughter some day.

Thanks again. I tried to take better pictures today in sunlight, but the quilting still doesn't show up well. Next time I'll be sure to use contrasting thread on something so light, um, well maybe...

The quilting is very nice Steve. It shows up much better on your latest photo. Awesome job!

Well, her Grandmother loved it and quite unexpectedly told me she'll have a gift certificate from Joanne's waiting for me on Monday. I told her she didn't have to do that, and she responded by saying "Yes, and you didn't have to do ‘this’, it's beautiful!"

How cool is that? It gave me the warm fuzzies all over. Anyway, so it'll be fun shopping since I've a 40% off coupon to accompany the gift certificate.
    :D

Outstanding job Steve! I love the detail you put into a small quilt. This little one will have a precious gift from you for her whole life. Have fun shopping at Joann's :) :) :)

She loved the quilt and now wraps her dolly in it. Very cool, another satisfied customer!

Thanks, but no, it's all hand quilting and stenciled. I'll eventually give a hand at machine quilting, but for now it's just the piecing.
