Default Finished DWR, and other projects

Here is the finished DWR for a co-worker who marries in September. I am thrilled that it is finished. I have not yet finished the label but it's half done.
I have made another Flying Geese (or is it Goose?)Quilt using the quick method. It's a birthday present for a male physio I know from where I used to work. I've called it "Forty Winks", he likes a power nap after lunch!
Having made 2 DWR's now, I had a lot of half square triangles left over. I just couldn't throw them away so I decided to try a doll quilt. This is the result. It's a bit "lumpy" in places. I have given it to my DGS's school for the Summer Fair fund raiser. I have a lot to learn where mini's are concerned. Still the more I do, the better I will get.(I hope)

Try using felt instead of batting for miniature quilts. Once you launder them, they will be less stiff, but also less lumpy. You work is beautiful.

Your quilts are beautiful! Your DWR looks so soft and inviting and your Flying Geese look perfect. Pretty little mini too!

I saw the first and thought that was so sharp looking and then the double wedding ring popped up. It just took my breath away. Then the darling miniature came up. They were a great treat to see.

They are beautiful. I am partial to the Flying Geese quilt; love the fabric choices/colors. I think I will try your design with the Flying Geese.
