It sure can but I had to make certain changes.
I did not use batting but a very stable cotton.
Also I cut the cotton the same size as the completed block. Thus the white in the snipping part. I just wanted some definition between blocks. You will also see that I framed each panel. The neat part is that I was able to do some Ditch stitching on each panel before I put it all together. The backing for each panel is the same at the frame color. Many possibilities. Quilters choice.
I then tied in the center of each square. Thanks for your comment. Have fun.
