    I've shown this quilt, and the others I've made since then (this thread is over 2 years old) in local guild shows, but I'm not into judged competition, and believe me this quilt would not win any prizes for workmanship! It was truly a learning experience. I have since improved the technique for making it, written the pattern for it, and made several more, but somehow it's the pink quilt that gets all the attention. I think there must be something that draws us to pink, even those of us who claim we don't care for it.

    Let me get this straight... you looked at a couple of pictures & then you just whipped this up from that inspirtation? WOW! This quilt is fabulous (I happen to love pink)!!! And then that it just sprung from you head makes it even more remarkable! Did I mention wow? To say that I'm impressed would be an understatement! WOW!
