Thank you all.

For those of you who would like to design, but are sure you can't, perhaps it would help if I said I flunked or barely passed art all the way up to college. IMHO, it's mainly a matter of starting small and being brave and industrious. I have both QuiltPro and EQuilt. I much prefer the former, as it is more user friendly. I began by using QP to draw any pattern I saw that I especially liked, then playing with these patterns to see if I would like a variant better. It is amazing how much difference you can make, for example, by changing colors.

I am very serious about quilting. Besides making quilts, I study quilts. I know many of you do not have the time to do this, with jobs, family commitments etc. Do what works for you but be sure to trust your own instincts.
