My father is wheel-chair bound in a nursing home up in Ohio (I'm in NC). His passion was fishing when he was younger and abler. So, I made this quilt for him for Christmas. It's flannel front and back, so he can throw it over his legs to keep warm while he watches his movies (LOVES movies!).

If you haven't sent it to him yet, might I suggest you sew his name on the quilt somewhere. I have heard things have a way of "growing legs and walking off" at some nursing homes.
Beautiful quilt!

Beautiful quilt!
And how! I've had some real experiences with that problem.

Your quilt is really fun, and I'm sure your DD will enjoy snuggling in it.

Beautiful quilt!
I did put a nice label on the back. It doesn't have his name in it, but it does have my "fully-qualified" name, including maiden name to match his. I thought I had a picture of the label, but I guess I didn't take one (it's already been sent off to him.)

But, he's been in this place for 3 or 4 years now, and my mom was there also before she passed last May, and we don't think there has ever been any theft. (Knock on wood!)
