How sad that it wasn't appreciated, it's too nice to be with someone who won't absolutely love it. This is one of the quilts that I hope to make someday. But look on the bright side, it wasn't meant for the mother, her daughter will probably be thrilled with it.

I like your quilt. I gave one of my first quilts away and I was sorry. It was too big for me to keep on my bed and I had someone who said they really loved it so I gave it to her. Now I am sorry because I think it may be a dirty old dog bed. Oh well, I just will make more. Ha!

It is beautiful. I agree that the niece will love it!! We leave for Ireland tomorrow! Landing in Dublin, renting car and driving full circle N and S back to Dublin in 2 weeks. Hoping to see lots of quilt shops on the journey.

Get to work, girl, and make one to KEEP for yourself!!! It probably is being cuddled with but put that aside and be glad that you have the picture of it to treasure. It is wonderful. But, as I said, get busy on for for a keeper.
