Listen I know just how you feel and then some people say give it away with all the love you put in it...sometimes it stinks that our love is not appreciated. I have given them to friends I am sure are going to love them and I get the "thanks" and then I gave one to my little brother and he flipped, he won't let anyone even sit on it He loves it so much. You never know do you. I am sorry and you are not alone!

Wow what a beautiful quilt, I love the colours and the back is attractive too! My husband often says to me about the very same thing,
"I don't think they are going to appreciate all the work that has gone into it"! It makes me sad too! But I enjoy doing them and I now make machine quilted ones in some cases and keep my hand quilted ones for those I know who will like and appreciate the hand work!

I love your quilt!! And also the chickens - are they goldencomets?? That is where I get my on-line name - my hair is the same colour as their feathers. LOL
